You will join their IT/Telecoms Support and Installation Team, reporting to the Technical Director, providing clients with support and installation services to industry best practices.

The successful applicant will be based at BDR Group’s office in Stratford upon Avon. Administrative tasks, troubleshooting, telephone-based training, remote equipment configuration and support can be carried out from the office however you will be required to travel throughout the United Kingdom to survey, install, train and where necessary troubleshoot and repair equipment.

You will be expected to work closely with customers, other engineers, and project managers. You must be accustomed to working with Avaya systems and software and be experienced in connecting systems with analogue, ISDN and SIP trunks and using Voice Networking.

Ability to work with voice cabling and install Cat5 structured cabling and a good knowledge of general telecoms peripherals (fax machines, PDQ machines, alarm systems, SIP ATAs, bells and tannoy systems) is also vital.

Out of hours and occasional weekend work may be required and the ability to multitask is essential as you will need to work on several jobs and projects concurrently.
