Reporting to: Sales Director
Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to generate profitable new business across our Fire, Security and Structured Cabling solutions. You’ll identify and win new customers, develop existing accounts, and build a strong pipeline to consistently achieve GP and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and secure profitable new business opportunities.
- Develop and grow customer accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
- Sell solutions including:
- Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
- CCTV & Video Surveillance
- Access Control
- Intruder Alarms
- Structured & Fibre Cabling
- Network Infrastructure
- Maintenance & Support Contracts
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Book a minimum of 14 new business meetings and attend 10 customer meetings each month.
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities and manage activity through CRM.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven business development experience within Fire, Security, Structured Cabling or a related industry.
- Strong new business and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and confident working independently.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
- Passion for technology and delivering outstanding customer service.
