BDR Group Managing Director, Malek Rahimi has negotiated a deal to acquire telecoms & IT company, ‘YTS’ based in Essex.
BDR Group successfully completed its fourth acquisition last week in 2023 by adding Colchester based YTS to the group. Essex-based ‘YTS’, with expertise in telecoms and IT, is a strategic acquisition bolstering the recently established Colchester business hub. YTS are “a welcomed chapter in the BDR Group story”, says Malek Rahimi, managing director at BDR.
Founded in 1991, BDR Group is a privately owned managed service provider to private and public sector clients across multiple verticals. The group is headquartered in Stratford-upon-Avon and operates out of four business hubs with 200 staff.
Malek Rahimi went on to say that YTS is the third acquisition in Colchester this year; joining 3C and Loop, helping establish a substantial business hub for the group in the geographical area. In January, 2024, BDR Group will be moving into new modern offices in Colchester to give staff, customers, and suppliers the same experience as all the other group’s modern business hubs.
This is great news for BDR’s continued growth and its progress as a leading ICT, cloud and telecoms provider with an extended business footprint across UK, helping it with its planned direction. In his closing comments, Rahimi said that he is “upbeat about 2024” and is “expecting to see continued growth organically, as well as by acquisitions. With several multi-million-pound business wins in 2023 alongside a highly active M&A pipeline, BDR Group will continue its expansion and building towards the teams £100M goal soon”.
