BDR has completed another successful acquisition.
Owner-managed comms and IT services provider BDR Group, has completed its third acquisition this year with the purchase of Wireless Telecommunications Ltd (Loop Voice and Data), a Colchester-based reseller.
Wireless Telecom enjoys a long-standing heritage in telecoms and connectivity, with very high recurring revenue at over 90%.
"We consider this acquisition a very positive gain for BDR Group; providing a huge white space within its customer base for BDR to promote additional IT, and cloud products and services."
Shahram Bagherzadeh, CEO at Loop Voice & Data (Wireless Telecom) gave his comments on the acquisition.
"Having known and worked with BDR since 2006, we have become trusted friends. I feel they are a perfect match for my team and our clients and they will be able to offer an even wider range of managed services to them now - especially after acquiring an IT company in Colchester. I am so looking forward to seeing BDR expand in Essex and East Anglia."
Rahimi added that “Wireless is also a great strategic acquisition to join our current business hub in Colchester.”
Founded in 1991, BDR Group is an owner-managed provider of unified comms, IT, mobile, cloud and security; providing services to private and public sector clients across multiple verticals. The group is headquartered in Stratford-upon-Avon and operates out of several offices with over 200 staff.
In his closing statement Mr Rahimi mentioned that: “Wireless is the third purchase in 2023, and we are still negotiating with other potential acquisitions for the remainder of 2023; fulfilling the group’s planned direction.”
