Dorchester Collection is a chain of luxury hotels, including 45 Park Lane, a vibrant beacon blending art and landmark architecture. In 2010, they contacted BDR to supply, install and project manage the network cabling for this new location.
The BDR approach
Working with the main contractor Kier, Icom installed 700 Cat-6 outlets over the different floors. We also supplied and installed all cabinets, voice and fibre optic, cabling links internally within the new site and via underground duct to their other Park Lane site. We installed all Wi-Fi, DECT, TV coaxial and antennae cabling along with the associated units for these services.
