Belstaff is a luxury designer and retailer, specialising in menswear, womenswear, bags and shoes. Their flagship shop is based in New Bond Street in London. In order to welcome their Global Headquarters following their relocation, Icom provided them with a suitable Data Cabling System.
The BDR approach
To cater for their bespoke connectivity needs, our engineers used the latest cabling technology available, Cat-6a cabling. Icom also provided a U/FTP solution – a cable allowing faster connections. This enables Headquarters to meet their data needs and future-proofs their network cabling.
BDR also recommended installing OM3-type fibre to guarantee the 10 Gig connection between floors and back to the server room.
Working alongside their other contractors, we successfully completed the project in conjunction with Faithdean PLC in the timeframe given.
The Results
The Customer now benefits from the fastest internet connection and we have provided full technical assistance on the products installed.
